The NightLife runs a regular mid rise — it lands at the natural waist rather than the hip, which is what keeps a bootcut sitting square when you're standing all night. Through the seat and thigh the cut is relaxed-straight: room to move, no sag, no skinny-jean squeeze at the quad.

From the knee down the leg opens into a genuine bootcut. That means a wider opening than a straight leg, sized to fall clean over a boot without dragging on pavement. If you wear a chunky roper or a taller cowboy boot, this is the shape built for it. If you mostly wear sneakers, size the inseam short and it wears like a clean straight leg.

The wash is a deep, saturated indigo with a subtle contrast at the stress points — nothing blown out, nothing sandblasted into a costume. Dark denim is the most versatile thing in a western wardrobe: it reads sharp under bar light, dresses up with a snap shirt, and hides a spilled beer better than any light wash ever will.

Back pockets carry western stitch detail, and the hardware is finished to match the tone of the denim rather than shouting over it. Belt loops are set wide enough for a real western belt and buckle.

The NightLife is built in a heavyweight cotton denim with a small amount of stretch worked in — enough give to sit, drive, and dance in, without the fabric going slack by the end of the night. Heavy denim breaks in rather than wears out: expect the first few wears to feel structured, then a personal fade map to develop at the thigh, seat, and hem.

Seams at the highest-stress points are reinforced, and the pocket bags are cut deep enough to actually keep a phone and a wallet where you put them.

Waists run 28 through 44, each available in a 32 or 34 inseam. Order your true measured waist — take a tape around where the jean will actually sit, not the number on the last pair you bought, since vanity sizing varies wildly between brands.

For inseam: 32 is the standard for most men under about 5'10" and gives a clean break on a boot. Choose 34 if you're taller, if you wear a heeled cowboy boot, or if you like a longer stack over the shaft. When you're between two waists, size down — heavy denim with stretch relaxes about a half size after the first few wears.

Boots and a plain heavy tee is the default and it's undefeated. For a night out, pair the NightLife with a dark western graphic tee and a leather belt; for anything that needs a collar, a pearl-snap shirt tucked at the front does more work than a blazer ever will. Dark wash is also the easiest denim to wear to a country concert — it photographs well and survives a crowd.

If the fit is wrong, we'd rather fix it than argue about it. Unworn, unwashed items with tags attached can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery — email outlaw@outlawdenim.com with your order number and we'll send return instructions.

Anything that shows up damaged, misprinted, or with a construction fault gets replaced at our cost, no return shipping on you. Send a photo and we'll handle it.

Wash cold, inside out, and only when the jeans actually need it. Heavy denim earns its character from wear, not from the washing machine — every cycle strips a little indigo and softens the hand.

Hang dry whenever you can. A hot dryer is the fastest way to shrink the leg and cook the fibers around the knee and seat. If you must tumble, use low heat and pull them out damp.

Skip the fabric softener and chlorine bleach. Spot-clean small marks with cold water and a soft brush. Embellished or riveted pairs should always be turned inside out before they go anywhere near a drum.
